| The department of applied Science is the gateway to the world of engineering.It introduces students to the foundational conglomerate of physics,chemistry, mathematics and communication skills.It is on those foundations only that the structures of engineering and technology are constructed. The institute is well equiped with physics, chemistry and communication skills laboratories. In the physics and chemistry labs the practical work demonstration is given of the that is taught in theory classes.Communication skill lab are equiped with audio-video aids such as television, DVD,OHP, Multimedia, Microphones etc.In these labs group discussions, seminars, mock interviews, role-playing and public speaking exercises are conducted to enhance the effectiveness of communication skills of the students.There are 4 state of art Engineering Drawing halls in the department. |
